Looking at the Catalog of this exhibition, I understand now the eyes’ obsession/presence all over your work – they also bring sounds, not only premonitions, visions, colors and forms. The shadow of death is the sign of the depth of your thinking, and emotions, you are an accomplished and profound artist, Max, and you know that we are shadows on this dimension of the universe. The lament is a reminder.
The presence of the mob is the scar of the mobs we experienced all over our lives, in unexpected ways. Mobs are all over and they threaten with their multitude the very existence of any free thinking /er and civilization. The mob I discovered in the The Terracotta Army grave of the clay soldiers in China was an ancient disguise of the mob – armies ready to kill and devastate. A few images of your work reminded me of this mob.
And your mortuary mask – I have one too - it is original how you played with it. I had to travel to India and after to search Greece's statues to understand the ‘ancient smile’, also on Mona Lisa’s face and even on your and my mask– our smile beyond human existence.
Blind in Wasteland is a powerful poem. As a painter and sculptor you crossed to the words, and this is unique.

After the review above I think all other words are Too much of the same !The only thing I don't agree with is the Premonitions part . I rather think you painted the present as you saw it , as is ! A present with goes with us already more than 100 years and , as a good and deep-feeling artist you showed us this present , which we know it is there but not all the time we are aware off ! We have to thank you for waking us up , because we should not forget !! Michal Ashkenasi

As always your mix media art speaks to me personally. You are an observer, who can see beyond modern individuality which is pushed so hard on us from every direction. To me “Wasteland” is a portrait of our delusion of self-worth and importance. No matter what we do with our lives, we are always being pushed with the current of other human beings and societies. This is sad and beautiful at the same time.
Besides I’m in awe of your presentation and innovative ways to show your message.
I cannot wait what you will create next.
